The Prime Minister of Nepal, the Right Honourable Sher Bahadur Deuba, recently visited Rangjung Yeshe Institute (RYI). He was accompanied by Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche and Tsoknyi Rinpoche, along with Khenpo Gyaltsen, who explained the work of RYI and showed the Prime Minister around the premises of RYI, including the library.

Dear friends, On the anniversary of Kyabje Tsikey Chokling Rinpoche passing into parinirvana, a three day Ngakso puja will be held at Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling Monastery in early January.

Kathmandu University’s annual “KU Day” was held on Saturday 11th December 2021. KU Day celebrated 30 years since the university was founded, and paid tribute to past and present faculty and staff. The vice chancellor, Dr Bhola Thapa, lead the tributes, and RYI representatives attended.

In our class on the history of Buddhism we started a project to conduct research in groups of two students on the many monasteries that surround us in Boudha.
