Highlights from the 45th International Seminar at the Thousand Buddha Temple, Lumbini

Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche, together with monastics from around the world representing the Theravada, Mahayana, and Vajrayana traditions, gathered at the Thousand Buddha Temple in Lumbini to celebrate Lhabab Düchen and the first anniversary of the temple’s inauguration. United in devotion, participants chanted the Kangyur—the words of the Buddha—in English, Nepali, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Pali. RYI’s students, staff, and alumni from across the globe joined this week of teachings, marking the 45th International Seminar with joy and harmony. Please enjoy a few photos from this special event.

For those interested, we will be offering a course on Discovering Lumbini and the fall seminar this August.
