Out of sixteen 2022 Graduates (5 MA in Translation, Textual Interpretation & Philology; 4 MA Buddhist Studies; & 7 BA) ten were able to attend. The Chancellor of KU and Prime Minister of Nepal, Sher Bahadur Deuba, presided, and speeches were made by the Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor, Dr Bhola Thapa, and guest speaker, Dr Mrigendra Raj Pandey. After the ceremony, the graduates with the principal of the KU-Centre for Buddhist Studies at RYI had a celebratory lunch, with parents and friends, on the valley rim overlooking the Himalayan mountains, before returning to Kathmandu.
