TLAN 102: Classical Tibetan II

This course focuses on applying the principles of Tibetan grammar learned in Classical Tibetan I and on building vocabulary and reading skills in the context of studying excerpts from original Tibetan texts. Students are introduced to text examples from a variety of Tibetan literary genres and time periods. Students are expected to contribute actively to the class by means of presentations and discussions of homework assignments.

Prerequisites

TLAN 101: Classical Tibetan I or permission from the instructor.
