UNDERGRADUATE LEVEL COURSES:

Himalayan Languages

All our Nepali, Sanskrit, Classical and Colloquial Tibetan courses are offered both on-campus and online.

Buddhist Studies

All our Buddhist Studies courses are offered on-campus only.

Textual Studies

These courses are taught by monastic Khenpo/Lopon and are offered both on-campus (for-credit) and concurrently online (not-for-credit).

The texts taught in the Fall 2024 semester are the following:

  1. The Way of the Bodhisattva” by Śāntideva བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་ (Tibetan with English translation) 
  2. Mipham’s Beacon of Certainty: Illuminating the View of Dzogchen, the Great Perfection” by Ju Mipham Rinpoche ངེས་ཤེས་སྒྲོན་མེ
  3. Prajñāpāramitāhṛdayasūtra– The Heart Sūtra ཤེས་རབ་སྙིང་པོ
